About Collaborative Crowd Inc.
The founders of Collaborative Crowd know that we can get further by working together. As a freelance professional there’s little support to help find work, especially locally. Collaborative Crowd is the answer.
Local purchasing, also knows as the shop local movement or “Buy Local” is a preference to buy locally produced goods and services over those produced farther away. The argued benefits of local purchasing are that it is better for the environment, enhances local job creation and strengthens community cohesiveness. We see major growth in the Buy Local movement in our food industry and with it comes the development of local support systems to nurture this change. The business to business service industry, especially independent freelancers and consultants, do not see the same support yet. Collaborative Crowd is working to change this.
In addition, the collaborative economy, also know as the sharing economy, is a socio-economic system built around the sharing of human and physical resources. These systems take on a variety of forms, often leveraging information technology to empower individuals, corporations, non-profits and government with information that enables distribution, sharing and reuse of excess capacity in goods and services. It’s time we bring the sharing economy into our business relationships especially to support the little guys – small businesses and contract workers. The Collaborative Crowd website will build multiple online tools that will be available to its members. The sharing of these tools will create efficiencies to both the freelancers that use them and the businesses that hire cCrowd teams. We can’t wait to be up and running so you can truly see the benefits of being a part of, or hiring from, the Collaborative Crowd.
Collaborative Crowd is still just a concept. We’re working hard to complete a business plan, find funding and expand our team to make this dream a reality. We encourage you to contact us to share your ideas, thoughts or funds. 😉
